Yashiro gives Doumeki time off when he spots someone waiting outside the building.
They both investigate where is transpires the woman is not Doumeki's ex, but his sister. Doumeki shares his past how as a police officer he came across his father on top of his sister. He received four years in prison for assault.
With Doumeki's step-sister having returned with the umbrella, Yashiro takes her to a cafe where he brings up their similar past experiences.
He offers to ensure that Chikara's sister will not return, but revealing his secret of impotancy instils anger in Chikaru.
